The Story Behind Kirana’s Healthy Hair Approach
Growing up in Hawaii, I developed an early understanding of how environmental factors such as sun exposure, humidity, and moisture impact hair texture, strength, and manageability. This awareness evolved into a passion for understanding hair’s behavior and long-term health, leading me to pursue advanced education and refined techniques that prioritize both hair integrity and elevated style. From my training at Paul Mitchell The School Honolulu to continued education in New York, my approach has been centered on assessing each client’s unique hair needs and delivering customized, sustainable solutions that support healthy hair and fit seamlessly into their lifestyle.
After mastering foundational skills locally, I expanded my experience in metropolitan salons to refine advanced techniques in textured cutting, smoothing treatments, and multi-dimensional color. Returning to Honolulu, I integrated this advanced training with my understanding of environmental influences to develop a philosophy centered on effortless, healthy hair—enhancing natural texture while addressing climate-related challenges. My studio within Dada Spa Salon Café reflects this approach, combining thoughtful design with professional precision to deliver sustainable, low-maintenance hair care that supports long-term hair health and empowers every client.
